ESSENTIAL OIL

ANGELICA SEED

Angelica–the name really says it all. Like an Angel, this being reaches through many dimensions, from the densest, darkest ones to the lightest ones. It reaches across the realms seen and unseen and connects matter and spirit like a vast spiritual ladder

ESSENTIAL OIL

ANGELICA ROOT

This year, our friend and distiller in France was able to distill angelica root. So now we are offering both the seed and the root. As much as angelica seed has a spicy note and really forces the crown chakra open, the root is deeper in vibration and seems to bring things inward, connecting us deeply to all aspects of our psyche including our essence (Atman).

ESSENTIAL OIL

CARDAMOM

Our Cardamom is warm and spicy and has an aura of sacredness. Its sweet intensity opens the heart and mind, enhancing our generosity, wisdom and spiritual awareness. With its subtle sensuality, it helps us feel comfortable in our skin. We use it for centering, meditation, emotional balance and to help us accept new thoughts.

ESSENTIAL OIL

CARROT SEED

Our carrot seed essential oil welcomes us to the ground. It helps us sense the hearth in the darkness, hidden roots, the comfort of belonging. Its subtle sweetness lingers in its aroma of embodiment. It helps us reach hidden and far-away aspects of ourselves, while at the same time keeping us grounded. It helps us find a balance between all aspects of the self so we can integrate lost and shadow elements.

ABSOLUTE

CHAMPACA

The aroma of this tree is irresistible. It is for this reason that it is used widely in high quality perfumes the world over. In India this tree is considered sacred, the flowers are used as offerings to the gods and in particular Lord Ganesh. This absolute is sacred and intense, barely a drop is needed. In fact, just a whiff is best.

ABSOLUTE

GALBANUM

It is what we have used extensively for historical trauma work, as it helps to connect with our ancestral strengths. It is very powerful and helps us to realize our true path in life. It will not listen to excuses.

ESSENTIAL OIL

JASMINE (RUH BELA)

This rare jasmine sambac essential oil known as ruh bela has an intense aroma and is extremely powerful. Why do we offer two different jasmine oils and a hydrosol? It is part of the power of jasmine that once you’ve gotten a taste for its fragrance, it keeps pulling you in and up. More intense than the attar, this is for true lovers of jasmine.

ESSENTIAL OIL

KAPOOR KACHRI

Kapoor Kachri, an Indian relative of ginger lily reminds us that we are always part of the flow, of water, of air, of time. It takes us into the depths of the earth, reminds us that the process that breaks down the old, creates the fuel for the new. It helps with grief and memory. It helps us let go. Its inner blend of earth and celestial realms makes it really magical.

ABSOLUTE

LABDANUM

Labdanum is one of the oldest produced aromatic substances. It is a resin exuded by the Cistus ladanifer plant, a type of rock rose and was one of the first ‘distilled’ aromatic substances. It was used for ritual purposes by several ancient cultures and opens us to receive nature’s healing energy.

ESSENTIAL OIL

BAY LAUREL

Laurel can really help to open this up and support women and men as they learn to connect to their deep inner strength and express it in the world. A much needed ally. In ancient Rome, public speakers would wear laurel wreaths on their heads for the same reason.

ESSENTIAL OIL

WILD LAVENDER

When life’s obstacles have muddied our being and vision, lavender offers a spiritual cleansing. The name lavender comes from the Latin meaning ‘to wash’.

ESSENTIAL OIL

MARIGOLD

This unique Marigold essential oil is from ‘African’ marigold (Tagetes erecta L.). Its aroma carries its golden light to the ancestors and it has been used for centuries to communicate with the dead. It is not Calendula nor Tagetes minuta.

ESSENTIAL OIL

PATCHOULI

It has a sweet fruitiness mixed with the smell of leather. It seems to pull the energy downwards along the spine and grounding us in the joyous sensuality of being in our bodies. It connects us to the earth and to its rhythm. It grounds us, helps us find stability and opens us to receive nature’s healing energy.

ESSENTIAL OIL

ROSE (RUH GULAB)

This rare essential oil is very powerful, slightly peppery, fresh and floral. It rushes to the crown chakra and then flows warmly down to the heart doorway. Its unconditional loving nature will infuse your being.

ESSENTIAL OIL

ROSEMARY

The name rosemary comes from the Latin ros + marinus which means ‘the dew of the sea.’
Alchemists considered it emblematic of the close approach of the final stage, conjunctio, when
divine grace enters us.

ESSENTIAL OIL

RUH KHUS (VETIVER)

Ruh Khus (Wild Vetiver) encourages us let go of using the intellect as our armor or castle. By building a solid, loving relationship with our physical bodies, we begin to feel more confident and centered. Our feelings, thoughts, emotions and interactions are anchored in our flesh and bones.

ESSENTIAL OIL

CLARY SAGE

Harvested in rural France, this oil is nurturing and really calls us back to it time and again once we have discovered it. I love the way that is makes me feel – joyful, capable, strong, confident and creative. I also enjoy the way it helps us contact the unconscious realms with such easE.

ESSENTIAL OIL

SANDALWOOD

Indian sandalwood is the most revered sandalwood in the world. It is elegant, round and smooth with a velvety texture, that sets it way above many of the other woody oils. It is extremely calming to the mind connecting the crown with the base chakra making it a very helpful oil to use in meditation. It is also used as a base for the preparation of attars.

ESSENTIAL OIL

ST. JOHN’S WORT

Use this oil when protection is needed. It’s called St. John’s Wort after John the Baptist whose feast day is in midsummer. Another name for this plant is  ‘sol terrestris‘, which means terrestrial sun. It really fills us with light and pushes out the dark, shadowy areas by filling them with fierce light and sun energy.

ESSENTIAL OIL

TANSY

We use tansy as a ‘flying oil’ in the alchemical stage of sublimatio. This oil is also for ancestral work and is a guide for the ancestral pathways. It has an affinity for helping us move through portals. When there is stagnation, this oil can help us find the way to get moving again and get back on our path.

ESSENTIAL OIL

YARROW

At last we are able to offer a Yarrow essential oil from pink yarrow that is ideally suited to our work of aromatic shamanism. Florent wildcrafted this, hand-selecting only pink yarrow. His pink yarrow brought tears to our eyes the first time we smelled it. Yarrow is the plant form of the Wounded Healer.
